Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that communicate the brand identity of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and support global tourism marketing efforts. This role involves developing creative assets for digital, print, events, and social media campaigns to inspire travel and elevate the destination’s visibility. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts, layouts, and designs that align with the SVG brand identity and campaign objectives.

• Design digital assets (social media graphics, web banners, e-newsletters, paid ad creatives).

• Produce print materials (brochures, posters, flyers, signage, trade show displays, event branding).

• Collaborate with the marketing team, content creators, and external agencies to deliver high-quality visuals.

• Ensure all designs are brand-consistent and optimized for the intended platform (digital, print, or video).

• Assist in developing templates, style guides, and brand toolkits for internal and external use.

• Support creative production for events, sponsorship activations, and press/influencer trips.

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.

• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and tourism marketing best practices.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in marketing, tourism, or agency environment.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects a plus).

• Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

• Experience designing for both digital and print platforms.

• Familiarity with social media marketing and content creation.

• Basic knowledge of video editing and motion graphics (preferred).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a dynamic, creative environment.
