Personal Lines Marketer
Hilb Group is a service-driven company that values career and professional development. They are seeking a motivated Personal Lines Marketer to review insurance applications, analyze risk factors, and educate customers on insurance products.
Responsibilities
- Review insurance applications, gather necessary information about the applicant and the insured property or vehicle
- Analyze risk factors
- Educate customers on the benefits and features of coverages and products
- Present quotations, spreadsheets, schedules of insurance and proposals to clients
- Interact and create relationships with producers, and carriers
Skills
- High School or college degree
- NY Insurance knowledge
- Independent usage and understanding of manual rating, eligibility and guidelines
- Knowledge of specific carrier software to calculate premiums
- Knowledge of excel a must
- Ability to maintain detail records and explain rating decisions
- Knowledge of HNW markets- Middle Markets carriers, Travelers, Progressive
- Knowledge of Flood, Workers Compensation and Builders Risk insurance
