Staff Accountant
On Location is a global leader in premium experiential hospitality, offering ticketing and curated guest experiences. The Staff Accountant will assist with all aspects of GAAP accounting, support the Controllership function for consolidation, prepare month-end reports, and manage account reconciliations.
Responsibilities
- Work with team to manage and assist with all aspects of an accounting close lifecycle, including:
- Preparing multiple workpapers with documentation that supports transactions recorded within Accounting ERP system
- Perform GL account reconciliations monthly
- Consolidate month-end support from various business units into a single report for consolidations reporting
- Be responsible for the reviewing the T&E for various team members
- Assist with preparing and posting journal entries
- Prepare reports for month end close and ad-hoc requests
- Assist with quarterly/year-end financial statement audit requests
- Respond to various ad-hoc requests with competing deadlines
- Effectively coordinate and collaborate with various departments within the company
Skills
- Minimum 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Accounting degree required
- Strong analytical and accounting skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to learn and digest new things quickly
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Public/Private accounting mix is a plus
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Experience with accounting ERP system such as NetSuite preferred
