Electrical Engineer I

The Electrical Engineer I will perform routine design, analysis, and evaluations of technical products and services under direct guidance, while collaborating with a team and supporting manufacturing and field service operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop skills necessary to assume more independent assignments
- Work in a team environment with a group of engineers and take direction from project managers
- Communicate with internal groups, customers, and vendors to obtain necessary information to complete work assignments
- Support manufacturing and field service during fabrication, assembly, and installation phases
- Solve routine technical problems
- Help maintain cost standardization
- Conduct and lead design and design for manufacturability reviews
- Perform resource/hour forecasting and tracking
- Communicate areas for product/service improvements to management personnel
- Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and support implementation
- Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements
- Resolve Corrective Action issues and support process improvement efforts within department and company
- Identify and help develop new business opportunities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 0+ years of experience
- 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical
