Summary:

In this role, you will drive revenue growth by maximizing contract utilization and building strategic relationships with existing non-acute pharmacy clients. You will leverage data and analytics to uncover opportunities and value delivery. You will collaborate across internal teams and client leadership to influence decision-making, improve spending performance, and enhance overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers and distributors to effectively guide clients through the onboarding process.

  • Cultivate partnerships with key client stakeholders and supply chain leaders across non-acute categories to drive alignment and engagement.

  • Analyze and leverage data insights to identify cost savings opportunities and performance improvements.

  • Design and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with client priorities and broader organizational objectives.

  • Deliver data-driven recommendations that clearly demonstrate value and influence client decision-making.

  • Identify and convert off-contract spend to on-contract opportunities to maximize value.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between client stakeholders and internal teams to advance strategic initiatives.

  • Support request for proposal (RFP) processes and project management associated activities.

  • Conduct regular business reviews, both virtual and in-person, to communicate performance metrics, monitor progress, and drive actionable outcomes.

  • Manage Net Administrative Fee (NAF) and Gross Administrative Fee (GAF) performance to meet or exceed territory targets.

  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and events to strengthen relationships, expand networks, and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Knowledge of healthcare supply chain, group purchasing organizations (GPO), pharmaceuticals, and/or spend management preferred.

  • Strong relationship management, customer service and client engagement skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.

  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive results within complex, matrixed environments.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
