Commercial Lines Account Manager

Where Relationships Matter and Service Shines

At Your Policy, we are guided by four Core Values: People First, Do What You Love, Deliver What You Promise, and Balance is Key. These values define how we connect with our clients, support one another, and deliver exceptional service every day.

Our mission is to make insurance effortless; by bringing transparency, simplicity, and trust to every interaction. We empower our clients to make confident, informed decisions about their coverage with ease and peace of mind.

Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive, service-driven Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the trusted point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients — managing renewals, solving problems, and ensuring every detail of their coverage is exactly where it needs to be.

If you love building relationships, thrive on organization, and enjoy helping businesses protect what matters most, this role is for you.

Daily Responsibilities

·       Be the go-to advisor for your assigned commercial clients — providing timely, proactive, and personalized service.

·       Own the renewal process: review coverage, gather updates, market accounts, analyze proposals, and prepare presentations.

·       Manage the details — from policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations to audits and certificates of insurance.

·       Guide clients through claims, coordinating with carriers to ensure smooth resolutions.

·       Keep everything organized in the agency management system

·       Educate clients on coverage options, risk exposure, and industry updates.

·       Support producers with onboarding new clients and preparing marketing submissions.

·       Spot opportunities to cross-sell, round out accounts, and strengthen relationships.

·       Build partnerships with carriers, underwriters, and industry partners.

·       Monitor renewal timelines to avoid lapses and deliver proposals on schedule.

·       Stay sharp on product knowledge, market trends, and regulations to keep clients ahead of the curve.

·       Champion compliance with agency and industry standards at every step.

What You Bring

·       3–5+ years of commercial insurance experience in account management or sales.

·       Active Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain before starting).

·       Bachelor’s degree preferred, but we value experience and professionalism above all.

·       Proven ability to manage multiple accounts with accuracy and care.

·       Deep understanding of commercial products (GL, Property, WC, Auto, Cyber, etc.).

·       Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·       Self-starter with a strong team-player mindset and a client-first attitude.

·       Proficient in CRM and AMS systems (HawkSoft preferred), comfortable learning new tech.

·       Experience with MS Office.

·       Bilingual in Spanish is highly regarded.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

·       Competitive base salary.

·       Health, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days.

·       401(k) eligibility after 500 hours worked.

·       Generous PTO + holidays — because balance truly is key.

·       Ongoing training, professional development, and CE opportunities.

·       A culture built on authenticity, teamwork, and long-term relationships.

At Your Policy, we know that insurance is more than policies; it’s about people. As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in giving clients peace of mind and confidence in their coverage.

If you’re ready to grow your career in a supportive, people-first environment where your expertise makes a difference every day, we’d love to meet you!
