Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Science Analyst who can work independently and collaboratively with our high-performing team of experts, AI engineers, and product managers to drive business decisions. As a Senior Data Science Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions to improve our product recommendations. Your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling will help us make informed decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities

• Plan and run A/B tests of our latest suggestion algorithms
• Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve
• Develop new tools that enable us to be more efficient and productive
• Work closely and build effective relationships with our product, design, and AI partners
• Communicate key insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering)

• Strong experience in data analysis and machine learning, preferably in a web-based business setting
• Proficiency in SQL (including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling) and Python programming languages
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., R, SAS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis to drive business decisions

• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g., decision trees, random forests, deep learning)
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing environments (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to communicate insights and recommendations to senior leaders
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
