Senior Python Developer Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid) Job Description: Job#: 3031475 Job Description: Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 months Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with experience in Python, REST, and ReactJS. This role involves working on front-office applications within the financial services sector, specifically in Global Markets. The position requires a candidate who can contribute to the development of risk and pricing applications and engage in domain-specific data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications using Python, REST, and ReactJS as a full-stack developer. Work on front-office applications, with a focus on risk and pricing development. Conduct quantitative research and domain-specific data analysis. Engage with both Object Databases and Relational Databases. Collaborate with senior team members on technical designs and implementation.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in an object-oriented language, preferably Python. 7+ years of experience as a senior developer on front-office applications in banking services. 7+ years of experience in quantitative research and development. 7+ years of experience in REST, ReactJS, or full-stack development. Experience with Object Databases and Relational Databases.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Fixed Income products. Experience in risk and pricing application development. Knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets.
