Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll play a key role in driving the development of AI and Machine Learning models for our attractions. You'll work closely with our internal partners to deliver elite visitor experiences through intelligent and data-driven systems across our Disney Encounters platform. You'll be responsible for leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute and scale ML solutions, driving innovation, and identifying areas where business issues can be solved creatively using ML.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute and scale ML solutions, driving innovation and identifying areas where business issues can be solved creatively using ML
- Drive innovative work, idea validation, innovation funding, and client communications that lead to growing top-tier AI stages
- Manage functional support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team
- Build standard techniques used in everyday tasks and work with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space
- Productionize ML models in predictive analysis, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and more, and assess their performance on real-world datasets
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve goals in improving system performance and coordinate with existing software practices that produce efficient code, including automated testing, continuous integration, code style consistency, and code reviews
Required Capabilities and Abilities
* 2 years of experience in Python and with predictive modeling experiences, such as TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, and more
- 2 years of master-level experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP
- Proficient in SDLC, QA cycles, and Agile Programming Paradigms
- Master-level experience in structured and unstructured data (i.e., images, video, text, audio, and more) and SQL social and non-social datasets
- 2 years of experience with Windstream or another data workflow management tool
- Experience with version control software, like GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in driving discovery processes with partners to identify business requirements and expected outcomes, relational skills, and determination to complete responsibilities
- Solid systems integration engineering skills, capable of transforming new tech into business solutions
Preferred Capabilities
* Experience with Docker
- Experience with control frameworks
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms in GCP or another cloud platform
- Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Agile development techniques
- Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
- Experience with data representation and data validation tools (e.g., Splunk, Plotly, Tableau)
- Experience with audio analysis
- Experience with text analysis
Education
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (desired)
