Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our team on a remote basis. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, handling inbound and outbound calls, and resolving issues related to pharmacy benefits, providers, and claims. If you're a certified pharmacy technician with a passion for delivering empathetic customer service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Answer questions and handle problems regarding pharmacy benefits, provider, or claim issues

  • Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to follow up with members, providers, and pharmacies as necessary
  • Spend approximately 90% of your time on the phones, providing empathetic customer service to our members
  • Seek approval for overrides and prior authorizations as needed and enter them into the claims system
  • Monitor pharmacy claims processing and complete data entry of member records
  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned as necessary

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry

  • A pharmacy technician certification is highly preferred (inactive certifications also apply)
  • 1+ year(s) of PBM or health benefits experience
  • Experience in working in a high-volume call center is highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry

  • Experience in working with electronic health records (EHRs) and claims systems
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, provider networks, and claims processing
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
