What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling inbound calls for insurance filing and routing callers to the appropriate team member
- Utilizing the Beyond system to cross-reference insurance information on repeat damagers
- Entering and updating insurance information accurately in the Beyond system
- Engaging in extensive phone usage to file claims and determine appropriate claim codes
- Assisting supervisors and team members with tasks as requested
What is Required (Qualifications)
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of insurance experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Extensive phone skills and the ability to interact positively with customers
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
