Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join our Advertising Information Systems team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes. You will work closely with our Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Engineers to develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth and revenue. Your primary focus will be on building a robust data ecosystem that supports our advertising business, including data modeling, data engineering, and data governance.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using distributed processing systems like Hadoop, Hive, and Pig.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Engineers to develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth and revenue.
- Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Work with our Data Governance team to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with our Engineering team to develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions to ensure high-quality code and design.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering and data science.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field.
- Strong experience with distributed processing systems like Hadoop, Hive, and Pig.
- Strong experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
- Strong experience with programming languages like Python, Java, and SQL.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js.
- Strong experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Strong experience with Agile development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
