Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
- Typing in data provided directly from customers with accuracy and attention to detail
- Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Verifying data by comparing it to source documents, maintaining data confidentiality and security
- Updating existing data to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested, providing timely and efficient support

Requirements and Skills
To succeed as a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll need:
