Job Description: Role: SQL Server Developer with Strong SSIS Experience Duration:: 6 months+ Contract to Hire Location: Memphis, TN, or 100% Remote Interview:Zoom Video Interview Need a 10+ Years SQL Developer with Oracle experience – about 90% SQL and 10% Oracle Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Developer with extensive SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) experience and some familiarity with Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SQL Server solutions, ensuring seamless ETL processes, and working with cross-functional teams to support data integration needs. Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
- Experience in ETL development, data migration, and data warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Visual Studio, and source control tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases (2014, 2016, 2019).
- Design, develop, and manage ETL processes using SSIS to integrate data from various sources.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Work with Oracle databases when required, ensuring smooth data exchange between SQL Server and Oracle.
- Collaborate with business analysts, application developers, and data engineers to understand data needs.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security following best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database structures, ETL workflows, and data mappings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based ETL solutions.
- Exposure to Power BI or SSRS for reporting.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
