Field Service Engineer

Job Description: The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, site acceptance tests and repair of a variety of PowerStation, Transmission, Substation & Transformer monitoring equipment. The ideal candidate would speak English and any other European language would be advantageous. Frequent travel within UK & EU without Visa requirements is expected. Key responsibilities: Planning and Scheduling FS Engineering visits for installation, commissioning, site acceptance tests repair, training and support directly with OEM and Utility customers Liaise with customers to increase FS sales Identification and development of commercial opportunities Provide V.O.C. feedback, to Management, Sales associates, Factory Quality and commercial associates Provide support to all reports on training in FBS tools and techniques Local stock control Develop own capabilities and talent to ensure that development potential is realised Travel required – up to 75% KPI’s Billable hours: Ensure 72% billable hours and measured by monthly reports Sales: increase in FS sales in Region and measured by FS sales Improved knowledge across the Qualitrol Product Range Customer satisfaction surveys: increased customer satisfaction and measured by feedback. Education and Experience: Essential Technical undergraduate degree, HND/HNC or equivalent experience Electromechanical aptitude BESC EUSR Person/Competent Person certified GWO offshore certification – advantageous Experience within the Utilities & Electrical Engineering industry.
