Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with cross-functional groups across arenaflex to design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient solutions. You'll be responsible for working independently, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy complex Java applications, including backend systems, APIs, and microservices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Develop and maintain large-scale, high-performance web applications using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies
- Design and implement data storage solutions, including database design and data access patterns
- Develop and deploy REST-based APIs and web services for web applications and mobile clients
- Ensure the security and reliability of distributed applications
- Train and mentor junior team members
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in designing and developing complex Java applications
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies
- Experience with database design, data access patterns, and data storage solutions
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
- Experience with training and mentoring junior team members
