Podcast Video Editor (4K Footage → 2 Polished Episodes + Social Clips)
Job Overview: We’re looking for a highly skilled video editor to turn approximately 3 hours of professionally recorded 4K podcast footage into two polished, engaging podcast episodes (30–45 minutes each). We want someone who understands pacing, storytelling, and how to make long-form content feel dynamic and native to today’s social-first audience. Scope of Work: Primary Deliverables: Edit ~3 hours of raw 4K footage into: 2 full podcast episodes (30–45 minutes each) Clean, professional final output ready for YouTube + distribution Editing Requirements: Tight pacing (remove dead space, filler, awkward pauses) Multi-camera syncing and switching Audio cleanup (levels, noise reduction, clarity) Zoom cuts, punch-ins, and subtle motion to maintain engagement Add captions/subtitles (burned-in or SRT) Color correction + basic grading for a polished look Secondary Deliverables (Highly Preferred): Identify and cut 5–10 short-form clips (30–90 seconds) optimized for: TikTok Instagram Reels YouTube Shorts Add captions and fast-paced edits tailored for viral distribution Ideal Candidate: Proven experience editing podcasts or interview-style content Strong sense of storytelling and pacing Familiar with social media editing styles (fast cuts, retention-focused editing) Experience working with 4K footage and large files Proficient in tools like: Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro After Effects (for light graphics) Style We’re Looking For: Clean, modern, high-retention editing Think: YouTube podcasts that don’t feel slow or static Ability to turn long conversations into tight, compelling content Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
