BIM/CAD Piping Lead
A BIM/CAD Piping Lead to drive 3D design environments, standards, and coordination across complex process and mechanical projects. This role blends advanced Revit expertise with BIM/CAD administration, supporting piping teams while ensuring model quality, data integrity, and efficient workflows. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can guide designers and continuously improve standards and processes. Required:
- 5+ years of experience in process/mechanical equipment layout and piping design
- 3+ years in a BIM/CAD administration role
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (3+ years), including both design and admin functions
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability and interest in leading designers and managing BIM/CAD standards
- Experience with Navisworks preferred
- Semiconductor/microelectronics experience is a plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up project-specific BIM/CAD environments for 3D deliverables
- Maintain data integrity across BIM/CAD models and documentation
- Coordinate clash detection and resolution across disciplines
- Perform and manage layer auditing and model quality control
- Collaborate with Design Automation Group on standards and workflow updates
- Act as liaison between design leads, piping designers, and automation teams
- Lead designer check-ins and provide ongoing technical support
- Maintain and communicate updates on BIM tools, software, and workflows
- Develop and administer BIM/CAD training materials and documentation
- Support onboarding and training of piping designers for projects
