Interim FP&A Director
GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. Location: Fully Remote (West Coast / Central preferred) Company Overview We have partnered with a fashion jewelry brand where their business spans from e-commerce, wholesale, and a growing retail footprint. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Director to provide immediate coverage during a leadership transition. This individual will work closely with the CEO and executive team to maintain financial planning & analysis continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the FP&A function
- Partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership on financial insights and decision support
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
- Build and/or refine reporting dashboards and KPIs
- Develop or enhance 13-week cash flow modeling (as needed)
- Collaborate closely with the Controller, including month-end review support
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and SOP development
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven FP&A leadership experience
- Prior experience in a PE-backed environment strongly preferred
- Hands-on, self-starter who can operate independently
- Comfortable in turnaround or restructuring environments
- Strong NetSuite experience (preferred)
- Ability to quickly assess, stabilize, and improve financial processes
