Key Responsibilities:

As a Retail Customer Service Coordinator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and proactively approaching them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
  • Serving as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management
  • Providing register coverage as needed and ensuring strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions
  • Upholding company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Participating in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping environment
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of products, services, and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of presentation and merchandising

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in the sports industry

  • Knowledge of visual merchandising and store displays
  • Experience with inventory management and replenishment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
