Experienced Data Entry Clerk – HCM Payroll Operations at arenaflex

At arenaflex, we're committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients, and we're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our HCM Payroll Operations team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes, working closely with our Supervisor and Specialists to test and implement system patches, upgrades, and modifications.

Job Summary:

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for performing a wide range of data entry tasks, including:

  • Entering new hires, bank information, setting up direct deposits, and performing employee verifications
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality in all department matters
  • Collaborating with the Supervisor and Specialists to test and implement payroll HCM system patches, upgrades, and modifications
  • Regular attendance is required, and you'll be expected to work overtime, including longer hours on certain days of the week based on business needs

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor and Specialists to test and implement payroll HCM system patches, upgrades, and modifications
  • Respond to questions and requests from colleagues and management in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet deadlines and work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities
  • Maintain a high level of quality focus and complete work in priority order

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

  • 6 months of data entry experience and/or knowledge of basic computer skills (MS Office) required
  • Experience with HCM systems, AS/400, and Kronos highly preferred
  • High level of attention to detail, completing work in priority order and quality focus highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
  • Ability to work independently, or in a team setting
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
