Primary Skills: Java (Expert), Spring Boot (Advanced), REST APIs (Advanced), SQL/NoSQL (Intermediate), CI/CD (Intermediate) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 3+ Months with possible extension Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid) Pay Range: $65 - $70 per hour on W2 Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with a profound expertise in Java and a strong foundation in building and maintaining Java-based applications, particularly involving Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern developmental frameworks. The role entails critical contributions towards developing, testing, deploying, and improving high-performance, scalable applications crucial for our business operations. Successful candidates will work in a diverse team environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and maintain the highest code quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Java-based applications.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams for integrated solutions.
- Ensure code quality through comprehensive reviews, adhering to best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, contributing to system reliability and performance.
Must-Have Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL database technologies.
Domain Experience:
- Prior experience in enterprise-level SaaS environments is highly desirable, with a familiarity in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP advantageous.
