Senior Cloud Database / DevOps Engineer - Neo4j

CTG is seeking a Senior Cloud Database / DevOps Engineer with deep Neo4j expertise to support a high-impact, cloud-native platform initiative. This role blends graph database engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices in a modern microservices environment. Location: Remote Duration: 8 months Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design, deployment, and optimization of Neo4j graph database solutions in production
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, MSK) and Terraform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
• Deploy and operate containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Implement GitOps workflows using FluxCD or ArgoCD
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/ECK
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed, cloud-native environments

Required Skills:

• Advanced Neo4j (mandatory) – data modeling, query tuning, performance optimization
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DocumentDB, Neo4j)
• Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker expertise
• Strong AWS cloud experience (or equivalent platforms)
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions or similar)
• GitOps tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD)
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana; Logging: ELK/ECK
• Scripting in Bash + one language (Python, Java, JavaScript, C#)
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems

Experience:

• Track record of managing complex, large-scale software platforms
• Experience delivering multiple releases in DevOps-driven environments
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills in cloud ecosystems

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
