The DES, Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Business Analyst Senior with the Systems and Automation Administration (SAA). This position is responsible for providing subject matter expertise as a high-level technical resource; and serving as a lead in complex projects, analysis, design, testing and implementation of major development projects. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate and oversee the work of large, complex projects.
• Act as primary liaison between the Information Technology department and multiple business units.
• Support the organization’s key business processes and applications and recommend business process redesign where applicable.
• Gather and document business requirements for large, complex projects.
• Translate requirements into business, functional and use case documents for large, complex projects.
• Provide functional expertise to developers during the design and construction phases of projects.
• Prepare and deliver informative, well-organized presentations and project status reviews to stakeholders including process owners, customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain business systems standards by applying project management methods, tools and processes as standard practice.
• Develop and execute comprehensive system test plans, conditions, test scripts, and test cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 10 years of experience in business analysis (or equivalent experience).
• PMI certification, Scrum Master, Lean or Six-sigma a plus.

Requirements

• Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
• Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
