Food Content Writer — SEO, Pinterest, WordPress
We're a growing food content brand and agency looking for a detail-oriented content writer to join our team as a contractor. This is a remote, flexible position. What you'll be doing:
- Writing and updating recipe blog posts optimized for SEO
- Conducting keyword research to inform content strategy
- Writing alt text and image file names for all post images
- Optimizing content for Pinterest search
- Publishing and formatting posts directly in WordPress
- Following brand voice guidelines for multiple food creators
What we're looking for:
- Experience writing SEO-optimized content for food or lifestyle blogs
- Solid understanding of on-page SEO (keyword research, heading structure, internal linking, alt text)
- Comfortable working in WordPress (Gutenberg or Classic)
- Familiarity with Pinterest as a search platform
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, communicates proactively
- All content must be original and human-written — no AI-generated copy
Details: Contract/freelance position
- $18–$19/hour
- Remote
