We are currently seeking a highly motivated Account Executive with the drive and determination to develop and expand our market position by locating, developing, and closing business relationships. Our Account Executives operate as Trusted Advisors to our clients, enjoy the dynamic of a team-driven workplace, have a strong understanding of a broad portfolio of products including Cisco Unified Communications Systems, and are willing to invest in their continued technical training. Our Account Executives are responsible for market share growth and fostering long-term relationships through the utilization of all available tools including web based technologies, onsite meetings, and demonstrations. As an Account Executive, you will employ a consultative selling strategy, interpreting customer needs and providing a strategic technical roadmap for hardware, software, and systems while attaining appropriate sales goals and metrics. We look for candidates who are energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies along with learning customer management and maintenance processes. This position requires dedication, persistence, effective utilization of provided resources and the ability to deliver superior customer service. You must be able to implement sales and marketing activities in order to meet company targets for retention, growth, and profitability. Documentation and team communication are key responsibilities. You will be expected to carry out your duties while following the organization’s format and procedures with unquestionable reliability and follow-through.   • Responsible for establishing a sales funnel and hitting sales quotas
  • Enhance customer loyalty and perception of IP Consulting
  • Accurate documentation of all activities and understanding all SLA’s

Required Qualifications

General Requirements:

  • Strong consulting and communication skills
  • Proven planning, prioritization and organizing skills
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
  • Keen attention to detail and dedicated focus on driving the sale to close
  • Confidence and experience in front of clients
  • Strong ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to be a self-starter and possess good time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance with reliable transportation to travel to various client locations around West Michigan

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in CRM opportunity tracking
  • Basic understanding of Computer Hardware and Software
  • Must have quiet space to work and reliable, high-speed internet connection

Certifications Desired:

  • Cisco Sales Expert
  • VMware Sales Expert

Desired experience: Consultative Sales, Technology sales, Technology guru: 1 year Required education: Bachelor’s in Business or relevant experience Additional Information: IP Consulting, Inc. is a fully remote company; positions are only open to qualified candidates residing in eligible U.S. states.
