What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Administer physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist
• Review patient's medical records and develop individual therapy plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist
• Update and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate daily billing charges and productivity logs
• Prepare patients and their families for discharge with appropriate instructions and home exercise programs

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida
• Hands-on Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient information
• Compliance with policies and procedures specific to patient rights and safety
• Excellent service orientation towards patients, visitors, and co-workers
