Role Overview The US Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning for US-based entities. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and sound business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Ensure compliance with US tax, payroll, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
- Review and improve financial controls, processes, and documentation
- Support leadership with financial insights, modeling, and strategic recommendations
- Manage and mentor finance team members (if applicable)
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in the E-Commerce Industry or any related field
- 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably with US entities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Excel
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with offshore or shared service teams
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-state operations
- Background in audit or public accounting
