Job Description

Summary: Maintains the efficient flow of purchasing activities and acts as a liaison between the department and vendor representatives, communicating and resolving discrepancies that may occur. Job Description: Essential Functions:

  • Resolves customer concerns or directs to appropriate department personnel
  • Verifies availability of product or service and establishes delivery dates.
  • Monitors inventory levels and initiates routine, rush, service, and procurement card orders.
  • Confirms orders, details, and updates database discrepancies.
  • Maintains and updates the MMIS system with vendor information and purchase order information.
  • Processes returns and communicates with vendor, dock and customer.
