Travel Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Fairport, NY
Deliver vital patient care and advanced telemetry monitoring as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced unit. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by ensuring patient safety and supporting clinical teams in an acute care environment. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active RN license
- Demonstrated experience in Telemetry or Cardiac Care nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
- Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms and promptly report changes
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Respond to emergencies and provide rapid, effective intervention
- Communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans and condition updates
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
