About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned BCBA to step into a Regional Clinical Lead (RCL) role supporting clinical quality, staff success, and regional operations. This position blends direct clinical work with leadership responsibilities, allowing experienced clinicians to remain hands-on while expanding their leadership impact. This is an ideal opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys mentoring staff, ensuring high clinical standards, and contributing to organizational growth—without stepping away from clinical practice entirely. What You’ll Do Clinical Oversight & Coordination

  • Maintain a limited direct service caseload (20 billable hours/week).
  • Ensure clients meet service delivery metrics (authorized hours, supervision %, parent education, goal progression).
  • Support scheduling and coverage needs in collaboration with administrative teams.
  • Identify and address clinical or compliance risks proactively.

Staff Leadership & Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for BTs, Mid-Level Supervisors, and BCBAs in your region.
  • Conduct brief weekly staff check-ins (group or individual).
  • Support onboarding and mentorship of new clinical staff.
  • Escalate performance or attendance concerns following established protocols.

Quality Assurance

  • Audit medical records, service standards, treatment fidelity
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, medical necessity, and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to correct quality issues early.

Client & Family Relations

  • Assist in resolving parent concerns prior to executive escalation.
  • Monitor client satisfaction trends and communicate feedback to leadership.

Regional Operations

  • Monitor weekly utilization and service delivery.
  • Partner with scheduling to address cancellations, open cases, and staffing gaps.
  • Participate in monthly leadership meetings and provide regional updates.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Minimum 5+ years ABA clinical experience
  • Prior experience with supervision, mentorship, or informal leadership strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000 annual salary (exempt)
  • $200 medical stipend

California Compliance Notice This is an exempt, salaried position in accordance with California wage and hour laws. While the standard workweek is approximately 40 hours, occasional additional hours may be required to meet clinical or operational needs.
