Title: Veterinary Receptionist Location: Tennessee United States Job Description: Southern Veterinary Center is a newly remodeled, fast-paced animal hospital dedicated to providing the highest level of care for cats and dogs. We are looking for a friendly and organized Part Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! About the Role: As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll help create a welcoming and professional atmosphere while keeping our busy front desk running smoothly. Responsibilities include: Answering and directing phone calls Checking clients and patients in and out Handling large cash and credit transactions accurately Communicating with pet owners in person and by phone Managing prescription refills and coordinating with our online pharmacy Maintaining accurate client and patient records Supporting the veterinary team with daily administrative needs Ideal Candidate: Friendly, professional, and able to multitask in a busy environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable using computers and learning veterinary software Previous veterinary or medical office experience is a plus Why Join Us: Work in a beautiful, newly remodeled hospital Be part of a supportive, animal-loving team Opportunities to learn and grow within the veterinary field Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. $14-$18 Schedule: 2-3 week days 7:30-5:30. 1-2 Saturdays a month 8:00-12:00.
