The Role

As an Airline Customer Service Agent, you'll join our team working out of San Francisco International Airport and be trained to support one of our airline clients. You'll start with one airline but will have the opportunity to train with others in time. International flights typically use wide-body airplanes that hold 200-300 passengers who will need assistance from the time they check in until they board (on departures) and from aircraft exit to baggage pick-up (on arrivals). arenaflex is responsible for ground handling – all the services performed for an airline and its passengers while the airplane is on the ground. We specialize in passenger services, so our agents may be working in any role that interacts with passengers in the terminal.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Manage the entire passenger experience, from ticketing to boarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry, using computer systems to track passenger information and flight details
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, working a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and positivity, even in challenging situations

Essential Qualifications

* Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and active listening; fluency in English; a second language is an advantage

  • Customer service experience is preferred but not required
  • Computer literacy with fast and accurate data entry skills; attention to detail
  • Calmness; ability to find solutions, even when busy and/or under stress
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon, evening, and/or night) including weekends and holidays
  • The stamina to stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

* Bilingual – any of the following language combinations: + English/Tagalog + English/Mandarin + English/Cantonese + English/Vietnamese + English/Thai + English/Indonesian + English/Hindi, Gujarati + English/Japanese

  • Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week (including weekends and holidays)
  • Fluency in English and preferred language
  • Computer literate
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States of America (USA)
