Key Responsibilities

As a Part Time Seasonal Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for supporting our Customer Service (Ticket & Gate) team. Your primary goal will be to make every customer's travel experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. Here are some of the key responsibilities you'll be expected to perform:

  • Ticket Agent: You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, guiding and assisting them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process. Your tasks will include:

+ Using a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets + Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel + Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts + Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

  • Gate Agent: You'll help our customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding. Your tasks will include:

+ Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking, and handling baggage + Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors + Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent: You'll need to have a high school diploma or equivalent to apply for this role.
  • Safety-Conscious: You'll need to consistently prioritize safety and security, both for yourself and others.
  • Diverse Perspective: You'll need to be open to diverse perspectives and thinking styles.
  • Age Requirement: You'll need to be at least 18 years old to apply for this role.
  • Physical Ability: You'll need to be able to frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds.
  • Language Skills: You'll need to be fluent in both written and oral English and Spanish.
  • Computer Skills: You'll need to possess entry-level computer skills and be able to use software applications to perform tasks.
  • Communication Skills: You'll need to have strong verbal and written communication skills, using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation.
