Job Summary

We're seeking an energetic and passionate Customer Service Support Representative to join our Patient Billing Customer Service team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering exemplary customer experiences through innovation and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

* Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective resolutions to patient inquiries.

  • Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.
  • Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Maintain performance goals, adhering to quality standards and productivity metrics.
  • Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program, embracing a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with a strong understanding of data entry and alpha-numeric systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum 1+ year work experience required, with a strong preference for previous work in medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, EOB, call center, or fast-paced environments.
  • Previous work in high-volume call centers with multiple computer windows open is highly desirable.
  • Previous interaction and communication with patients regarding medical information is strongly preferred.

Technical/Other Requirements

* Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second connectivity required for remote work.

  • Dedicated area to perform duties without interference, with structured breaks to maintain productivity and well-being.
  • Ability to manage time and tasks independently, while maintaining productivity and meeting performance goals.

Pay Range

* $15.25-16.00 or State/Local minimum wage, if higher, depending on your skills and prior relevant experience.

Shift and Schedule

* The shift for this position will be Monday-Friday; 11am-8pm (EST), which is 10am-7pm CST and 9am-6pm (MST) and 8am-5 pm (PST).

  • Offers shift differential – 11AM-8PM (EST) shift – 10% shift differential for residents in eastern time zone.

  • Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
