About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer, Platform to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources and load it into our data warehouses and data lakes
• Develop and maintain data visualization tools to support business decision-making
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data-driven models and algorithms
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our data systems are optimized for performance and scalability

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Apache Hive
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
