About the Job

We're seeking talented customer service specialists who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Technical Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing first-level technical solutions to customers, answering inbound queries, and building positive relationships with our clients. This is a remote work-from-home opportunity, and we're looking for candidates who are based in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An associate's degree or certification from an accredited program in technical and/or clinical education
  • Experience working with electronic documentation systems
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical or clinical/medical device support roles
  • Previous contact center experience is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills
  • Ability to type 30 wpm and pass our language/grammar screening
  • Reliable home internet connection (hardwired, not Wi-Fi)

Responsibilities

As a Technical Customer Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-level technical solutions for installation, operation, and maintenance of products
  • Answering inbound customer queries and building positive relationships with our clients
  • Ensuring requests are handled appropriately by coordinating with various functions within the company
  • Scheduling service calls and following up with customers/clients
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues using established diagnostics tools and procedures
  • Accurately inputting data using prescribed applications
  • Demonstrating exceptional call handling soft skills, including active listening, empathy, and reassurance
