Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Director - Customer Sales South to lead a cross-functional team and drive business growth across assigned territory. As a key leader within arenaflex, this individual will be responsible for leading annual planning processes, negotiating annual agreements, and providing subject matter expertise to resolve complex customer issues. This role will require a strong track record of successfully selling into multiple national and regional channel customers, with a focus on Publix and SEG customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a cross-functional team to deliver business results across assigned territory

  • Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve aggressive business targets
  • Negotiate annual agreements with key customers to ensure alignment and execution
  • Provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex customer issues and deliver BASN annual goals
  • Directly manage Publix and SEG customers, as well as two direct reports who manage Texas (HEB & Brookshire), K-VA-T Food City, and Military Channel customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience required

  • 8 years direct sales experience in the CPG industry, with a track record of successfully selling into multiple national and regional channel customers
  • Located in Southeast or Texas preferred
  • Recent Publix and SEG experience preferred
  • DSD beverage background preferred
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with a strong desire to produce results and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to quickly assess the needs of the business, develop an action plan, and manage required change
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to intermingle with a wide variety of business professionals
  • Passion for building brands, new products, and long-term growth
  • Verifiable list of current contacts with appropriate buyers and divisional managers
  • Solid computer skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong understanding and analytical skills in understanding of Nielsen/IRI syndicated data
  • Ability to travel extensively (30% if based in FL area; 50% outside of territory) by car and plane, including local and neighboring geographic territories
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive long distances
  • Motor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy
