Remote Principal User Experience Designer
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal UX Designer. In this role, you will spearhead the design of intuitive and engaging user experiences across various digital platforms. Your leadership will drive the UX strategy while mentoring fellow designers and ensuring that design executions not only align with user needs but also meet business objectives. You will have the opportunity to embed innovative tools and practices within the design workflow, making significant contributions to our user experience initiatives. This position is ideal for a seasoned design expert looking to make a meaningful impact in a creative environment. Accountabilities
- Own UX design end-to-end for portal surfaces including the post-login experiences across multiple digital properties
- Drive design decisions from customer problem through hi-fi deliverable, including journey mapping and interaction design
- Contribute to the design system by authoring reusable components and interaction patterns
- Partner with PMs to review lo-fi prototypes, ensuring alignment with customer needs
- Lead design critique and peer review sessions to elevate quality across the UX team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and CX research to enhance user engagement
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and design system compliance
Requirements
- 10+ years of UX/product design experience with a strong portfolio
- Deep expertise in modern design system tooling
- Experience designing for web hosting, CMS, or SMB-facing products is a plus
- Strong systems thinker with the ability to design scalable patterns
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, matrixed organization
- Experience in agile delivery with close partnership with PMs and engineering teams
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present design decisions clearly
