Job Description

As an Experienced Customer Service - Self Storage Manager in Grand Prairie, TX, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assessing Customer Storage Needs: Work with customers to understand their storage requirements and make suggestions for packing and moving supplies.
  • Daily Storage Unit Inspections: Conduct daily inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring that spaces are ready to rent.
  • Auditing Cash Drawers and Making Bank Deposits: Manage cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of your daily business.
  • Customer Communication: Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
  • Physical Requirements: Be able to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, and spend up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Customer Service Experience: A background in customer service-centered sales environments, such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.
  • Transportation: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for traveling between work locations and conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available).
  • Physical Ability: The ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, and spend up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments.
