Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and verifying invoices, maintaining vendor records, and reconciling invoices with purchase orders and receipts. You will also coordinate payments via checks, ACH, or electronic transfers, generate reports on payables, aging balances, and cash flow forecasts, and monitor expenses and recommend payment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

* Process and verify invoices for timely payments

  • Maintain and update vendor records and databases
  • Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts
  • Coordinate payments via checks, ACH, or electronic transfers
  • Generate reports on payables, aging balances, and cash flow forecasts
  • Monitor expenses and recommend payment strategies
  • Address and resolve payment discrepancies or vendor issues
  • Perform ad hoc financial and administrative duties as needed

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or similar roles
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Schedule: Must be able to work U.S. EST hours or Philippine night shift
  • Technical Proficiency:

+ Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) + Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas) + Accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar + Familiarity with AP systems, payment processing, and account reconciliation

  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cloud-based accounting software

  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Compensation and Benefits

* Salary Range: Php 35,000 – Php 40,000

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (USA)
