Senior Full Stack Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine. About the role: As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will design, develop, and optimize large-scale, distributed solutions. You’ll work on new features from idea to production, build AI-driven capabilities, and solve complex engineering problems in a highly collaborative environment. The Client is changing the way organizations protect their data-centers and clouds from advanced threats. The team is part of the Enterprise Security Engineering organization and the AI Engineering group. We build microsegmentation capabilities that control and limit how systems communicate within our customers’ environments, helping prevent attacks from spreading inside the network. In addition to developing core product capabilities, our team is responsible for driving innovation- identifying opportunities, proposing initiatives, and building AI-powered solutions that are deployed in real production systems. Responsibilities: Take ownership of AI-driven security initiatives, influencing solutions beyond individual tasks Initiate and develop POCs, many leveraging AI and data-driven approaches, and evolve them into production-ready features Design and build core enterprise security infrastructure, from architecture through deployment, with real-world impact Develop and operate scalable backend services in complex, distributed environments Balance hands-on engineering with technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, QA, UX/UI designers, and security experts across the organization Identify and implement improvements to reliability, performance, observability, and test coverage Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, with 5+ years of software engineering experience Strong backend engineering experience with Python, including designing, debugging, and maintaining production-grade services that integrate with SQL/PostgreSQL Hands-on frontend development experience with JavaScript, including building user-facing functionality and integrating with REST APIs Experience deploying and operating production systems using Linux, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, preferably in distributed environments Desirable: Experience building AI/ML-powered production features, or working in security, infrastructure-heavy, Big Data, or Spark environments Personal skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, take ownership from design to production, and collaborate effectively across teams What`s in it for you?
