Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our 100% remote team in the USA. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from pet parents, providing solutions for their pet insurance needs, and driving sales growth through effective problem-solving and relationship-building skills. Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from pet parents to provide solutions for their pet insurance needs

  • Manage time and other resources to ensure sales goals are met consistently
  • Handle all interactions promptly and effectively to minimize wait times
  • Build rapport with potential customers to reinforce the value of arenaflex's Petfirst brand and our pet insurance products
  • Build strong knowledge of products and services offered
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services to provide expert advice to customers

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of sales experience in a customer-facing role
  • Proven attendance reliability and flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Current active property and casualty insurance license in a minimum of 45 states, but preferably all 50 + D.C.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills
  • Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections
  • Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail
  • Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet

Preferred Qualifications

* Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment

  • Insurance industry sales experience
  • Service industry and/or Contact Center experience
  • Resident Property and Casualty Insurance License is preferred
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines

Training and Onboarding

* 100% remote training schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, for two weeks

  • Flex schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 9:00 pm, one weekend a month on a rotating schedule
  • Permanent shift will be assigned after the initial training period

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate: $18 - $20 per hour
