Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive timely and effective support for their specialty medication needs. You'll be responsible for handling new and reorder requests, verifying benefits, and resolving complex issues related to medication orders. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and empathetic approach will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle new and reorder requests for specialty medications via phone, ensuring timely and effective support for patients

  • Verify patient benefits and resolve complex issues related to medication orders
  • Collaborate with insurance companies, patients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues
  • Utilize Windows-based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications, to manage patient information and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone

  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
  • One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone

  • Medical services work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology

Training and Education

* High school diploma or equivalent required
