Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering Inbound Calls: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complex issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Reviewing Patient Liability Questions: Review and respond to patient liability questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed.
  • Referral Coordination: Coordinate referrals, including completing Open Referrals and/or referral tracking queue.
  • Documenting Actions: Document all actions in the system, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Registering New Patients: Register new patients, verify patient demographics and health insurance, and update patient information in designated databases.
  • Responding to General Information Requests: Respond to general information requests and/or inquiries from patients, physicians, medical offices, and other callers.
  • Communicating Effectively: Communicate effectively and in a professional manner with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Processing Work-Related Responsibilities: Process all work-related responsibilities in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.

Requirements

To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ Years of Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a call center answering customer service inquiries regarding healthcare.
  • Computer and Windows PC Applications: Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
  • Time Management and Attention to Detail: Strong time management and attention to detail skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Empathy and Communication Skills: Excellent communication and empathy skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and respectful manner.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous Experience with EPIC: Previous experience using EPIC is preferred.

  • Telecommuting Requirements: Ability to work from home with a dedicated workspace, free from noise and distractions, and provides information privacy.

* Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document actions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Empathy: Strong empathy skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and respectful manner.
  • All Employees Working Remotely: Will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy.
