Senior Tax Accountant (Philippines)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S)
- Ensure timely and accurate filings in compliance with IRS regulations
- Conduct tax research and apply findings to client scenarios
- Identify tax planning opportunities
- Review junior staff work and provide mentorship
- Communicate with U.S.-based clients and team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–8+ years of U.S. tax experience
- Experience working remotely with a U.S.-based CPA firm
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations
- Proficiency in tax software and Excel
- Preferred: Experience with Drake Tax software or other leading tax preparation platforms (e.g.,
Lacerte, ProSeries, UltraTax) Skills & Competencies
- Strong English communication skills
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Strong time management and leadership potential
