Translation Intern

Job Purpose Location: Greece (Remote) About The Role: RWS Greece is looking for Translation Interns to join our translation teams and be part of our Internship Program. Native language: Greek Duration: 3-4 months Payment: Unpaid Date(s): ASAP Hours: 9am-5pm Location: Remote (home-based) What you’ll do: Work as part of our translation teams and translate a variety of content from English to Greek. Who can apply: Any Translation student whose university must be located in Greece. Job Overview This unpaid internship will run for a fixed term of 3-4 months from MON to FRI (8 hrs. a day) and is designed to provide an introduction to professional translation and allow translators to grow key linguistic and commercial skills as they begin their careers in the localization industry. The program will offer training modules in translation, review and machine translation post-editing (MTPE), as well as full instruction in the use of some of RWS’s key technology solutions and valuable guidance on achieving a successful career in translation. For candidates who successfully complete the internship, there may be an opportunity to take up a permanent position. Responsibilities: Translating and post-editing texts from English into Greek Computer proficient and open to continuously growing and learning with new tools and applications Delivering quality according to our standard procedures and contributing to continuous development of the same Requirements: Excellent source language understanding Excellent English language skills Excellent Greek language skills Excellent attention to detail Good written/verbal communication Flexibility and ability to work to a deadline Ambition and a desire to learn and progress Good Microsoft Office and Internet skills CAT tool experience preferred (Studio or others) Life at RWS At RWS, we’re here for one purpose: unlocking global understanding.
