Job Summary

As a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing expert guidance and support on our insurance products. You'll be responsible for:

• Responding to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring timely resolution of issues
• Initiating endorsements and policy changes for customers
• Processing and transmitting necessary information to clients and brokers via various channels
• Assisting applicants and brokers with application completion and required forms
• Collaborating with the underwriting team to obtain information from clients and brokers
• Escalating customer service issues to management as needed
• Participating in special projects and initiatives to enhance customer experience
• Providing expert guidance on insurance products, including billing questions and policy changes
• Actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell value-added services
• Reviewing and rewriting current accounts to ensure optimal carrier fit
• Maintaining accurate client information and files, including communication and activities in our agency management system
• Staying up-to-date on changes in carrier plans and policies
• Continuously educating yourself on industry developments and best practices
• Building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and agents

Competencies

To excel in this role, you'll need to possess:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Property & Casualty Producer's License (preferred but not required)
• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent
