We are seeking a talented and motivated Freelance Graphic Designer and WordPress/Elementor Developer to bring creative visions to life and craft engaging, user-friendly websites. This dynamic role combines innovative graphic design expertise with web development skills, focusing on building responsive, accessible, and visually compelling websites using WordPress and Elementor. Responsibilities
- Design captivating visual assets including logos, layouts, banners and graphics that align with client branding strategies.
- Develop and customize WordPress websites utilizing Elementor page builder to create seamless, responsive user interfaces.
- Implement front-end development techniques using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Bootstrap to ensure optimal website performance.
- Conduct usability testing and user research to refine website architecture, enhance user experience (UX), and improve web accessibility standards.
- Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in content structure, metadata, and performance tuning.
- Maintain existing websites through regular updates, security patches, plugin management, and troubleshooting issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and deliver high-quality digital solutions within deadlines.
Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress (including custom themes/plugins) and Elementor (page builder).
- Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva or Figma is desired.
- Web development expertise including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript, PHP, MySQL databases, and version control with Git.
- Skills in responsive web design techniques ensuring websites function flawlessly across devices;
- Experience with e-commerce platforms integration (WooCommerce), email marketing tools like Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor, and digital marketing strategies is desired but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently—scope, plan, and execute tasks without close supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a small, focused team
- Reliable and responsive within agreed working hours
