Description: Hoyle Tanner is seeking an Entry-Level Airport Planner to join our Aviation Services Division. As an Airport Planner you will:

  • Prepare elements of an Airport Layout Plan
  • Prepare elements of an Airport Master Plan
  • Provide planning support for airfield design projects
  • Support project managers on planning tasks
  • Utilize AutoCAD and GIS on regular basis
  • Be able to coordinate and clearly communicate with airport operations on both towered and un-towered airports
  • Attend client and agency meetings with a project team, document meeting notes, and distribute follow up correspondence
  • Conduct Small Unmanned Aerial System 3D analysis projects
  • Prepare technical documents
  • Collect, format, sort and analyze airport planning data in MS Excel or equivalent

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of Airport Planning or Civil Engineering experience
  • BA/BS or MSA/MS degree in Airport Planning, Aviation Management, Civil Engineering or related field
  • Salary is contingent on experience and degree
